Originally from Baltimore, I studied broadcasting at the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland. I graduated in 1992 and started working on the shore, doing weekends at OC104 (WOCQ). In 1993, I left and travelled west to Frederick, MD. I worked Mornings on the Oldies station (WTHU) in Thurmont, MD. near Camp David. I also moonlighted as the evening personality on the legendary Z104 (WZYQ) in Frederick. I moved back to the shore after a year there and went back to work overnights at OC104 (WOCQ). After a couple of months, I moved to Mid-days and became the Production Director. In 1998, I had a great opportunity to work at one of the biggest stations on the shore - Q105 (WQHQ). I did Afternoons, and was also the Music Director for that station. Two years later, we decided to put a new station on the air - and Magic 98.9 (WSBY) was born. I've been on Magic since it's inception, helped build it, and have served many roles over the years - Mid-days, Afternoons, Program Director, and Music Director. I love being on the air and playing the Best R&B for you.
In my personal life, when I moved back to the shore in 1998, I met the love of my life and married her - my wife Teresa. We just celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary. We have 2 children together - Audrey, age 8; and Kimi age 6. They have brought me more joy than I thought was possible. It's great watching them grow up...it just goes sooo fast! I'm also a volunteer Firefighter/EMT in the Delmar Fire Department. I never thought volunteering would be such a rewarding experience. Had I not gone into radio, that's what I probably would be doing! Now I get to do both! Thanks for stopping by and checking out Magic 98.9!
